Burleigh Village Kids
Burleigh Village Kids is where our children can come to learn more about God’s love for each and every one of them. It’s also a place where we explore, through the bible and its stories, how we can all then live our lives in response to His great love. We aim to provide the children with a fun, engaging, educational program with plenty for the children to do.
The program runs most Sundays of the school term in downstairs room at Burleigh Village Uniting Church, for approx. 30mins during the 10am service. Children are invited to begin the service with their parents in church and then head downstairs when directed after the ‘Kids Chat’ during the service. Burleigh Village Kids is designed for children aged 3-12.
Burleigh Village Kids and Burleigh Village Uniting Church are committed to adopting Safe Ministry with Children practices as outlined by the Uniting Church in Australia, Queensland Synod. All leaders have passed a Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and have been selected due to their skills and passion for working with children.
Wendy Kerr is the coordinator with her vibrant team of enthusiastic leaders.
